Great Soundtrack

I LOVE 10cc.

It is my belief they are criminally underrated as a band.

When I found out that their catalog had been remastered I franticly sort them out. These are Japanese pressings from JASRAC, with Roger Wake doing the remastering.

I was happy, the pressings LOOKED better in the hand, & more importantly sounded far better than the original 80's releases.

Only recently had I stumbled across Japan CD, & SHM's, I have quite a few non Japan SACD's, but decided to purchase The Original Soundtrack as a tester.

Even with my limited equipment a quick a-b test between the two discs, means the ordinary remaster will now only be used in the car!!

The dynamics are WAY better, more space, better focused, & very silky on the ears, (this seems to me to be a trait with SHM mastered cd's).

£35 for 1 cd is a lot, especially when I can get a new release from Amazon for under£10, but the premium is to me worth it.

SHM-SACD's are to me the ultimate cd, & for all time fav albums, the only format to buy. :-)
