A nice initial foray into albumville for Deluhi.
Yggdalive is an unconventional listen for Deluhi fans used to their more metal and hardcore style. The album starts out pretty head-bangingly awesome with epic, guitar-heavy tracks like G.A.L.D and Revolver Blast.
Then literally as you continue through the album, the tracks get lighter and poppier. It's not an unpleasant listen. The boys are skilled musicians and write solid songs, but it sounds as if the ghosts of a boy band possessed them all and commandeered the album.
Nonetheless, if you like your Jrock light and sweet, WAKE UP! reminds me of a GLAY song and Hello is a soaring track you might find yourself singing along to.
