Create shelves for your favorite artists or choose themes freely and creatively! Store items in your shelves to let people know what you are interested in. People may post comments on your reviews and on shelves.

1. How to Start

STEP1Create Your Profile
Create your profile you so that people will get to know you! To do so in a few easy steps, Register (free of charge) and follow steps. If you have already completed your registration, Log in to create your profile.


STEP2Create New Shelf

Steps to Create New Shelf

  1. Log in and click on Shelves tab in My Page
  2. Click on Create New Shelf link
  3. Enter descriptions about the shelf and click on the Create button


2. How to Post Reviews

STEP1Select Item

There are two following three ways to select items to create reviews.

From Details Page on CDJapan

Steps to Select an Item from CDJapan Page

  1. Find the item on CDJapan
  2. You will find the Post Review on Neolog button on the item details page
  3. Click on the button and Log in


From My Page

You may also select items to review by entering the catalog number in My Page.

Find the catalog number on CDJapan for items you’d like to review and copy it.

Steps to Select an Item in My Page

  1. Login and click on the Reviews tab in My Page
  2. Click on the New Review link
  3. Enter the catalog number of the item and click on Create button


Use Add to Shelf Button

Another way to select items to review is by clicking on the Add to Shelf button on Neolog review pages.

Add to Shelf button is located next to reviews throughout Neolog. Click on it and begin writing your reviews.




STEP2Post Review and Add It to Shelf

  1. Enter the title, write your review, and rate the item
  2. Select the shelf to add it to from the pull down menu
  3. Click on the Create button
Your review will become public on Neolog and CDJapan immediately.

How Many Shelves and Reviews Can I Create?
Create as many shelves as you like and review as many items as you’d like.
How Long Can My Reviews Be?
The title may include up to 100 letters and your review may include Enter up to 2000 letters.
Is it Possible to Edit Reviews and Shelves?
You may edit them anytime.
Will All My Shelves and Reviews Become Public?
Yes, they will become public as soon as you create them. However, if you click on the Post Review later button, the review will be pending and it won’t go public until you finish creating your review.
