This is another favorite Nightmare album of mine, I know I can't have more than 1 favorite from one artist, but it is way too difficult to choose!

While Ultimate Circus, was fun, rowdy and boisterous (like alot of their indie stuff), this album presents a more thoughtful, earthy, raw and mature approach to Nightmare's work, all while maintaining their characteristic rough edge.

This is, their best work; musically, lyrically, and aesthetically.

With songs like the rough and powerful "Sanagi" or "Sekishoku", the beautiful, mysterious, calm and energetic "Varuna", the jazzy and genuine "Underdog", the powerful, fast-paced and fun "Tokyo Shounen",etc etc,(and that's not even half of the album!!) EVERY song on here is wonderful, seriously.I listen to every song equally, even the opening track "Sanagi". Additionally, the album tracks stand out great on their own against the singles, and complement them beautifully.

I especially love "Travel" probably the best conclusion to any album,"Tsuki no hikari~", "Shian","Varuna", "Gianism Go", an absolutely awesome addition in the series.. ALL!) All the members are performing superbly, and Yomi's voice has such a range!! Angsty, and coarse, but also soft and thoughtful; and it evokes such emotion!! This is actually the time period that I think his voice was the best!

But, what really impresses me is how meaningful the lyrics are. This album is as genuine as a band can get. No gimmicks, no artificially "emotional" songs.
Just Nightmare being Nightmare.
I can really feel from this album that they don't care about what others say, or care about how well it sells, they just want to be themselves and be true to their audience.

The lyrics primarily focus on "being yourself" and "lost love", yet they are presented in such a way that it's real, and relatable to the listener. A side of music, that is often left out.

Throughout the years, I've listened to it so many times, and being the first CD that I've truly enjoyed every part of, has really changed how I look at music, no joke.

Music can be genuine, and this album is proof! If you like quality [rock] music with genuine lyrics, I urge you to pick it up before it's out of print!! You'll love it!!
