Live: P-Funk Earth Tour

This record represents the P.Funk Army in its best form circa '77. The music here was discussed already countless time, so I'd focus on sound quality and packaging. I guess that people considering to buy it already have either vinyl or older single CD version.

Well, finally we have the UNCUT CD of this great album. It's 14 tracks on 2 CDs, and the track "Fantasy Is Reality" is at the right place, same as it was on the original LP - 1st reason to trash the old press.

The sound is good - despite modern remastering I have no complains about compression or clipping or heavy EQ. Basically, I prefer it over the old CD.

And what makes it really special is the packaging. We get gatefold cardboard sleeve fully reproducing the original artwork, George's poster (reduced to 8" by 12"), a miniature version of iron-on t-shirt transfer with P.Funk logo, two cards reproducing the LP's apples and the booklet with full lyrics both in Japanese and English.

What else you could dream of?
