Wheels of Fire

I actually prefer the Disraeli Gears album over Wheels, however when it was released on the SHM-SACD format I was curious to give it a listen.
The sound was always too busy in past issues I've listened to, but that has changed drastically in SHM-SACD. Very spread out and a pleasure to hear the three members showing off their talents. Reviewers love to point out "Crossroads" when speaking of "Wheels", and it is a phenomenally great sounding track on this disc. However the diamonds are heard in "Politician", Sitting on Top of the World",Born Under a Bad Sign and "Spoonful". I'm awfully glad I grabbed this one. Hopefully Disraeli Gears is in the wing to sit beside it. All the Best - Michael
