This is the first time in years that Ayumi Hamasaki has announced that she is doing a theme song for a drama series. More importantly she has been working with a new composer who did a tune for the coupling songs.
Both the ~LOVE is ALL~ songs are based on the same composition, with different arrangements and altered lyrics.
While Sunrise is an upbeat summer song, it sounds pretty different than Ayu's older summer songs. The song features a few of her dancers and band members in the chorus who sing along in the background. It's really uplifting and refreshing.
The ballad version titled Sunset features a beautiful arrangement by Yuta Nakano. It's a mellow, soothing ballad in which Ayu is singing in a "silent" voice to reflect the lyrics better in opposite of Sunrise.
The third track "fairyland-glitter-BLUE BIRD-Greatful days-July 1st" Mega-Mash-Up-Mix is quite a nice addition to a summer release.
The CD+DVD version of the single features PVs for both songs and the making of. Both the PVs feature 300 TeamAyu members, dancers and were shot on the same location.
