Guitar maestro.

The Life trilogy by 'you' I humbly regard to be three of the greatest instrumental guitar albums ever released. Life the third does have some vocal tracks (in English), but this musical project is just sublime. The first movement is melodic electric guitar ala Satriani's 'Surfing With the Alien'. Each song is structured beautifully, and to be honest, who needs vocals when 'you' can make his guitar sing like that! Life the second is acoustic driven, but again beautifully written and executed. Life the third can be quite metallic in places, but also jazzy, with some elements of fusion. I must admit I am not a huge fan of Janne Da Arc, but this set sees 'you' stand as a solo artist exemplar.
Cover art is simply gorgeous. Card slipcase over 4 x standard jewel cases and glossy deluxe booklet featuring photos of 'you' on stage and posing. I am sure I will treasure this set for the rest of my 'life'.
