Once upon a time in the ninth grade I was introduced to Gackt. Thus began my love of Japanese culture, specifically it's pop culture. Since then, I have become a fan of many more bands and artists, namely, L'arc en ciel, miyavi, Dir en grey, Nightmare, Mika Nakashima, Yuna Ito, Gazette, xTRiPx, and most recently and passionately, my beloved alice nine. Especially in the last two years, I have spent much more on Jrock than I should have. Thus I am now broke but happy, having and extensive Jrock collection. But of course, it inevitably leads to a vicious cycle: I have no money to spend on Jrock because I've spent it all on Jrock.
