angela - Beautiful fighter / My story [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]

Honestly I'd have to confess I wasn't really fond of the music at first, but I guess you could call it the type that grows on you? grow on me it did I'll say.

The reason why I was so skeptical at first is because the music in this album is very similar to many of their other songs, and having listened to almost all their releases so far, it sort of made me go: "Ah. This style again."

Beautiful fighter is the type of song you'd expect from angela, strong instruments and a fast paced tone. Its quite catchy but give it a chance to grow on you, especially if you're used to their song style.

My story isn't as catchy, but is a pretty good song as well, but doesn't really deviate from angela's trademark musical style either.

The extra track Darling is the track that comes in a different style, and is a slow and softer song, a nice way to finish up the album after 2 fast songs.

A nice album that needs to be given a chance, but fans of the Anime would have already gotten it already anyway. the extra is a music DVD as usual with videos, something you can give a miss and get the regular edition if it doesn't interest you and you just want the music.
