~Oh So Sweet~

Aragaki Yui's voice really surprised me. It's soo cute and soft. It's not that type of forced idol cute, or that over-produced and over thought 'cute' that Koda Kumi's been pushing for a while now. It's clean and true, and genuinely adorable. It's quite palatable. In some moments she reminds me of Chara. This is a good thing.

The music she's given on hug is not terribly unique, but her vocal delivery really sells it for me. She brings an honest and earnest touch to every song, no matter how pop-fluff or drama-tie-in the songs seem.

There is something so basic about this album that I really love. It doesn't try to be anything more than it is. It's light, sweet, and heart warming. An incredibly soothing listen that always makes me smile and feel good. It doesn't have to be epic or life altering to be good.
