Withstands the Test of Time

Fourteen years after the initial release of this game, I still find myself going back to listen to the music over and over again. Not every single track across the three discs is phenomenal (I can't think of any album where that is true), but these are discs you can just put in and listen to whilst reading, doing work, surfing the web, etc. Certain tracks that I don't mind listening to over and over again are やすらぎの日々 (yasuragi no hibi), 星の祝祭 (hoshi no shuukusai), and エピローグ～親しき仲間へ～ (epilogue ~shitashiki nakama e~).
I cannot recommend this highly enough to any fan of the game, or just the genre in general. It's both excellent for putting in just to listen to and enjoy as well as for background music while doing something else.
